Urinary tract infections (UTIs) are common and usually treated with antibiotics. We’re studying an investigational drug to see if it may be effective for UTIs in women. Study participants will receive either the investigational drug or a currently approved treatment.
Eligible participants must:
- Be female and at least 18 years old
- Have UTI symptoms that began within the last 3 days
- Have not been treated for a UTI more than once in the past year
Other criteria will be reviewed to determine if you may participate. Participation in the study lasts about 5 weeks and requires 6 clinic visits. Study-related drugs and procedures are provided at no cost. Your participation in this research study may benefit other women in the future.
