The Clinical Research Coordinator I will perform multiple and varied tasks critical to the management of clinical research studies. The Clinical Research Coordinator I is expected to exhibit basic knowledge of clinical research activities and adhere to federal and other applicable regulations. The Clinical Research Coordinator I must ensure compliance with protocol guidelines, identify problems and/or inconsistencies and monitor subject process throughout the clinical research study.

Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of a formal medical/clinical educational program or in the alternative has a strong knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to learn quickly.
  • Clinical experience involving patient care in a healthcare environment preferred but not required.
  • Ability to interpret and perform clinical, laboratory and diagnostic tests (such as vital signs, height, weight, temperature, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision, and to exercise discretion and a high level of good clinical and other professional judgement.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform multiple critical tasks simultaneously (under dynamic and ever-changing conditions and deadlines).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, lead clinical research studies and complete tasks.
  • Calm, friendly, approachable, and presents a professional image.
  • Excellent listening, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Committed, highly energetic, self- motivated and highly organized.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in office equipment including (but not limited to) copy machines, facsimile machine, multi-line telephones and computers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Professional and highly motivated “self-starter” with the ability to exercise initiative.
  • Excellent task management and prioritization skills.

Recruitment Specialist perform a wide variety of tasks associated with clinical study activities which are integral to the successful conduct of clinical research studies. Recruitment Specialist are responsible for learning and reviewing criteria concerning all interested patients who want to participate in a clinical trial.

  • Successful completion of a formal medical/clinical educational program and possession of a current, unrestricted license or certification (i.e., R.N., L.P.N., C.M.A., E.M.T., R.T.)

The Quality Assurance Specialist promotes an all encompassing emphasis on quality through each phase of the research process. The Quality Assurance Specialist serves as the facilitator of HRA’s ongoing standards of excellence, as well as identifying areas of opportunity for continued improvement. The Quality Assurance Specialist’s focus will center on measures to prevent, detect, investigate, assess and correct errors and violations associated with the conduct of clinical trials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Successful completion of previous research, healthcare or QA training or equivalent job experience.
  • Ability to function independently with minimal supervision, and to consistently exercise discretion and the highest levels of good clinical and other professional judgment.
  • Ability to effectively devote keen and acute attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise standard Universal Precautions; in the alternative, the ability to quickly learn and apply Universal Precautions.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate basic office equipment including (but not limited to) copy machines, facsimile machine and computers.
  • Strong written communication skills, including exceptional spelling abilities and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated “self starter” with the ability to exercise initiative, together with ability to work as a team player as well as independently while managing a variety of study related projects simultaneously.
  • Basic knowledge of computer operations and demonstrated computer skills in a variety of software environments, i.e., Word, Excel, Internet.

Receptionist – Wichita West & Newton[+]

The Receptionist is responsible for greeting and scheduling visitors. This position has administrative and clerical tasks to facilitate the flow of potential trial subjects, study participants, sponsors and reps through the facility. The receptionist is responsible for maintaining confidentiality of all patient information in compliance with the HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 1 year experience working in an office setting.
  • Ability to work consistently and effectively as part of a high performance work team.
  • Ability to effectively devote keen and acute attention to detail.
